The Sunday Whip
MSPs have returned to the Chamber, but chose to decide nothing this week, as the debates on the Legislative Programme and the Independent Budget Review did not have motions attached to them. So all we had were the Business Motions, which were accepted without dissent.
Next week sees a Ministerial Statement on Scottish Ambulance Service Call Handling, followed by a Government debate on its Drugs Strategy. Thursday will see a debate on the Government’s Housing Strategy (housing debates are always good for a rammy) followed by a debate “Celebrating the Growth of Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight”. And if that one produces any controversial amendments I’m looking forward to seeing them.
